Our Story

The Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Mary & St. Rewis in the Kingdom of Bahrain serves approximately 1,500 Coptic families residing in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Under the pastoral care of our beloved priests, we gather in faith, fellowship, and service to honor God and strengthen our community.

The Coptic Orthodox Church traces its roots to the Apostle St. Mark, who brought Christianity to Egypt in the first century. Our church maintains the ancient liturgical traditions, hymns, and spiritual practices that have been preserved for nearly two thousand years.

Our Faith

We believe in One God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We follow the Nicene Creed and uphold the teachings of the first three Ecumenical Councils. The Coptic Orthodox Church is led by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, the 118th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.
